Current AEW Collision lineup for Forbidden Door go-home show
With Forbidden Door coming up this Sunday, the majority of the lineup for this Saturday’s go-home edition of AEW Collision was revealed during Wednesday’s Dynamite.
The headliner will see Mercedes Mone team with Athena against Maya World and Hyan. Mone will face World in the finals of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament. World pulled off an upset in the semifinals by defeating Athena while she has paired with Hyan since joining AEW.
The TNT title will be on the line as Kevin Knight defends against Dezmond Xavier of The Rascalz while Mistico and “Speedball” Mike Bailey will reunite to take on the Premiere Athletes. Knight, Mistico and Bailey briefly held the AEW Trios titles.
Ahead of his showdown with Tommaso Ciampa in July, Chris Jericho will be in action against JD Drake, and in a CMLL Women’s title defense, Persephone puts the title on the line against Billie Starkz.
The announced card is rounded out by Jake Doyle vs. Adam Priest.
The show is being taped after Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
