Mercedes Mone title defense set for early start AEW Collision Holiday Bash

This Saturday’s one-hour AEW Collision Holiday Bash special will see a title defense from Mercedes Mone in addition to two Continental Classic matches.
The show, taped in Manchester, England, Wednesday will air at 2:30 PM Eastern due to NCAA college football playoff games on TNT.
Mone will put her RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship on the line in an open challenge to anyone local, issued during Wednesday’s Dynamite. Mone is in search of her fifth title defense since winning it from Mina Shirakawa in January.
With the tournament’s final week upon us, Saturday will feature Gold league action as 2024 tournament winner Kazuchika Okada will take on Kevin Knight. Okada goes into the bout tied for the league lead at six points while Knight has three points.
In the other match, Jack Perry will look for his first Gold league points as he faces “Speedball” Mike Bailey who enters tied for the league lead with six points.
Eddie Kingston will also be in action against an opponent to be named.
