AEW reveals matches for House Rules in Brisbane, Australia
While the show won’t be televised, AEW revealed the first two matches for this Sunday’s House Rules in Brisbane, Australia, during Wednesday’s Dynamite.
The show will return to the scene of last year’s Grand Slam Australia event at the Brisbane Entertainment Center while this year’s Grand Slam emanates from Sydney on Saturday.
In a mixed tag team match, AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley will team with Marina Shafir against Orange Cassidy & Toni Storm. Shafir, Cassidy and Storm will compete in a tag team match Saturday (along with Wheeler Yuta) where the person that takes the losing fall has to shave their head.
Sunday will see the in-ring debut of the newly-formed Brawling Birds of Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor who formally revealed their team name this past Saturday.
Those are the only two matches announced thus far. The marketing image above also features MJF, Willow Nightingale, Kyle Fletcher, Hangman Page, Mark Briscoe, and Harley Cameron.
It has not been announced if the show will air on YouTube or the HBO Max archives at some point.
