AEW launches FAST channel as part of new MyAEW digital platform with PPV access

After more than six years, AEW now has their own FAST channel as part of a new partnership with streaming technology provider Kiswe that may portend the end of their relationship with Triller.

Announced on Monday, MyAEW will give “fans immersive access to live and on-demand events outside the United States and Canada, a dedicated FAST channel with ad supported viewing available to fans globally and more exciting features to come in the near future.” FAST is an acronym for free ad-supported streaming television.

Found at MyAEW.com, episodes of AEW Dynamite’s first year are currently streaming in order. For U.S. and Canadian viewers, the website also has a coming soon graphic for the AEW Podcast Network in addition to links for merchandise.

No app was announced with the launch.

International impact

Fans outside the U.S. and Canada can now get all of their AEW and ROH programming in one spot for one price.

Available now, there are three separate packages that includes a monthly $7.99 plan for Dynamite, Collision, ROH TV and special events, and TV archive access, a $19.99 plan that also includes the AEW PPV for that month and select PPV archive access, and a yearly $119.99 plan that includes all AEW PPVs for the year. PPV purchases remain available for 90 days.

The service immediately becomes an alternative to Triller which has been embattled in well-documented financial issues and perhaps AEW’s long-term primary option. Triller currently still provides a gateway both to AEW programming and PPV availability for many international countries via AEW Plus which is $7.99 per month with a 20% PPV discount.

FAST channel

It’s unclear if the FAST channel will eventually be made available to other FAST providers like Pluto TV, Tubi, Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus, and Xumo Play for more exposure.

WBD has launched several FAST channels to some of those providers, but has not done anything with AEW to date. Of note, Paramount Skydance, the possible future domestic rights holder to AEW if the WBD acquisition goes through, owns Pluto TV.

In February, The CW launched their own FAST channel for WWE NXT. Both TNA and the NWA (formerly of The CW) has a presence on several FAST providers including Pluto. WWE has yet to launch one.
