AEW officially announces Spring BreakThru episodes, schedule change

AEW Spring BreakThru

After a WBD HBO Max lineup initially revealed it before being changed, the Spring BreakThru theme is indeed returning to AEW TV for this week along with a schedule change.

First introduced last year, the theme will be part of this Wednesday’s live episode of AEW Dynamite and also part of this week’s Collision that will air on Thursday instead of Saturday which had been previously announced. The reason is to avoid going head-to-head with WWE WrestleMania 42 which airs on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

In a change from last year when AEW ran back-to-back nights live in Boston, this Thursday’s show will be taped in Everett, Washington, after Wednesday’s Dynamite. Last year’s show featured Owen Hart tournament semifinals matches while this year’s tournament has yet to be announced.

Both shows will be Dynasty fallout episodes.

It will be the second of three straight weeks of pre-taped Collisions as the following week will see Dynamite and Collision emanate from Portland, Oregon.
