Clarification on AEW Revolution Zero Hour airing ‘free’ on HBO Max

AEW Revolution 2026

This past Saturday during AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone said that the Zero Hour pre-show for this Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view would be airing “free” on HBO Max, followed by tweets like this one promoting the same.

However, the terminology used wasn’t quite accurate.

A WBD spokesperson told our website that while the show will be in front of the PPV paywall, it will not be in front of the HBO Max subscription paywall, meaning you still need an HBO Max subscription to view it just like previous AEW pre-shows like the Tailgate Brawl editions before last fall’s PPVs.

According to the graphic shown during the show, Zero Hour will also air on YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, X and Facebook.
