AEW to run several multi-hour TV blocks in May, other interesting schedule details
The TBS/TNT/HBO Max schedule for May revealed that AEW will be running several multi-hour Wednesday blocks of Dynamite and Collision, even on weeks when they will run an additional show on Saturday.
On May 6, May 20 and May 27 (all Wednesdays), AEW will run both Dynamite and Collision live back-to-back on TBS. Of the three dates, only the total length of May 6 (three hours) is out there courtesy of the released schedule.
In the case of Wednesday, May 6 from North Charleston, South Carolina, they will return the following Saturday with the live Fairway to Hell show from West Palm Beach, Florida, that is listed for one hour on the TBS schedule.
On Wednesday, May 20, the Double or Nothing go-home editions of Dynamite and Collision air back-to-back from Portland, Maine, as game two of an NHL conference final will air on TNT.
The Double or Nothing countdown show comes out Saturday, May 23 at midnight while the Zero Hour pre-show airs on Sunday, May 24 at 7 pm Eastern on HBO Max.
On Wednesday, May 27, it will be Dynamite and Collision back-to-back from Philadelphia. However, another Collision will air live from Huntsville, Alabama, the following Saturday.
AEW on HBO Max notes
- Last November’s AEW Full Gear will be added to the HBO Max archives on Friday, May 22.
- On Friday, May 29, Battle of the Belts VII, episodes of Dynamite from July 5, 2023 through August 30, 2023; episodes of Collision from July 7, 2023 through September 1, 2023; and episodes of Rampage from July 1, 2023 through September 2, 2023 will be added to the HBO Max archives.
