AEW Tag Team title eliminator tournament final set for Rampage

The next challengers for AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks will be settled on next Friday’s AEW Rampage in the finals of the four team Tag Team title eliminator tournament.

On Friday’s show, Jurassic Express picked up a win over Private Party to advance and await the winner of the Lucha Brothers vs. the Varsity Blonds on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.

The end for Friday’s match came when Private Party went for Gin and Juice, but Jungle Boy countered with a spinning DDT. Jurassic Express then hit a double team powerbomb on Marq Quen for the pin.

The tournament winners will face the Bucks in a steel cage match at All Out on September 5th. The stipulation was added after the Bucks’ Wednesday victory over Jurassic Express that was marred by interference by The Elite.

The Bucks won the titles at the February 2020 Revolution pay-per-view and will be looking for their tenth title defense.
