AEW World Champion Jon Moxley competing on next week’s Dark

During the rundown for next week’s Dynamite, the commentary team announced that AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will be in action on next week’s edition of Dark.

His opponent wasn’t announced, but the match has already been taped. It will be his first in-ring action since Double or Nothing when he defeated Brodie Lee to retain the title.

This won’t be Moxley’s maiden voyage on AEW’s YouTube show, having defeated Faboo Andre in just 61 seconds on the March 25th edition.

He appeared on this week’s Dynamite in a confrontation with Brian Cage and Taz as part of a promo segment building up their Fyter Fest match.

The rest of the Dark lineup will likely be announced over the weekend. AEW has been running more matches on Dark in recent weeks, usually with a feature match amid squash matches with stars and unsigned talent.

Dark was filmed at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL, as part of the two night Dynamite/Dark tapings the company has been running every other week.
