Alex Windsor & Thekla officially announced as under AEW contracts

Although it was already known, both Alex Windsor and Thekla were officially given their #AllElite AEW graphics Saturday by Tony Khan and announced to be under contracts.

Windsor, who both appeared and competed in last Saturday’s women’s Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In, defeated Taya Valkyrie in her Collision debut Saturday. Afterward, Khan tweeted out the graphic and it was later revealed that she will challenge ROH Women’s World Champion Athena on next Saturday’s Collision.

Windsor debuted for AEW in May 2024 in a tag team loss and then lost to Toni Storm the following month. She unsuccessfully challenged Athena for the title at February’s ROH Global Wars in Australia. Windsor, the fiancee of Will Ospreay, first announced she signed in early-June.

Thekla reportedly signed her deal in May and made her debut later that month. Khan said in his Saturday tweet that he put her in a 45-day probationary period after she debuted at AEW Fyter Fest due to her attack on Stardom president Taro Okada that got her fired in storyline.

With her first target (Jamie Hayter) injured, Thekla has been feuding with Queen Aminata.
