Andrade El Idolo is returning to AEW.

The 33-year-old was mentioned in a press release on Wednesday as one of the names who will headline the newly announced AEW Collision show.

‘AEW: Collision’ will feature headliners including Miro, Samoa Joe, Thunder Rosa, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Andrade El Idolo,” the press release reads.

Andrade suffered a torn pectoral muscle in a trios match on the August 17 Dynamite. He still took part in the Casino Ladder Match at All Out the following month but hasn’t wrestled since. He underwent surgery to repair the injury in November.

Andrade was involved in a physical altercation with Sammy Guevara backstage at the October 5 AEW Dynamite. While Andrade was sent home in relation to the incident, Guevara performed on the show later that night.

Last month, Andrade attended the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles. He would later clarify that he is still under contract with AEW and was only accompanying his wife, Charlotte Flair, to the event.

Andrade debuted for AEW on the June 4, 2021, edition of Dynamite. He would later tell Milenio that he signed a three year deal with the company.
