ROH World title match set for next AEW Collision

Bandido | AEW

ROH World Champion Bandido will put his title on the line on next Saturday’s live edition of AEW Collision.

Announced during Thursday’s Collision, Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps — via de facto team leader Hook — called out the Mexican star in a backstage promo and the match was later made official.

While the two have been on the same side of a ten man tag team match before, this will be their first ever singles meeting.

Bandido has held the title for over 450 days with 11 title defenses under his belt. This will be his first on AEW TV since an October 2025 Collision when he defeated Mascara Dorada. Shibata is looking for his first ROH title run of any kind since he was Pure Champion which ended in November 2023.

It was the only match announced for the show.
