Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho announced for AEW All Out

The two will meet in singles action for the first time since 2013.

In a high-profile match that has been quietly building for months, Bryan Danielson will take on Chris Jericho at AEW All Out.

The match was made on Wednesday's Dynamite during the Jericho/Daniel Garcia face-to-face. After Garcia shoved down Jericho in frustration once again and left the ring, Danielson was laughing at Jericho which led to their own verbal confrontation.

Out of that verbal exchange came the challenge for "Lionheart" to face the "American Dragon" to see who is truly the best wrestler.

The two last clashed in the Anarchy in the Arena match between Danielson's Blackpool Combat Club and the Jericho Appreciation Society where Jericho and Hager combined to put Danielson to sleep.

While the two worked various tag team matches throughout the years, they have only had three total singles matches (according to Cagematch) with Jericho winning them all. The first was back in the 2010 edition of NXT with Jericho picking up a quick victory.
