Bryan Danielson vs. Evil Uno set for AEW Dynamite
Bryan Danielson’s march to his AEW World title match begins Wednesday on Dynamite as he takes on Evil Uno of the Dark Order for the first time.
The undefeated Danielson defeated Miro at Saturday’s Full Gear pay-per-view in the finals of the World title eliminator tournament to earn the shot. He will face new champion Hangman Page at a date to be announced following Page’s title win over Kenny Omega Saturday.
Page is affiliated with the Dark Order, so this will begin the storyline to that eventual clash. Wednesday’s show will be in the new champion’s home state of Virginia for the first time so it’s assumed he will be there as well.
Here’s the rest of the currently announced lineup for the post-PPV show:
- Orange Cassidy & Tomohiro Ishii vs. The Butcher & The Blade
- TNT Champion Sammy Guevara vs. Jay Lethal title match
- Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose in a TBS title tournament match
- Dante Martin & Lio Rush vs. The Acclaimed
Wednesday will mark the AEW in-ring debuts for both Ishii and Lethal. Ishii is part of the Chaos faction in New Japan that Cassidy and Best Friends recently aligned with while Lethal signed with AEW over the weekend after a long tenure with Ring of Honor.
