Bryan Danielson vs. Jake Hager set for next AEW Dynamite

For the first time since February 2014, Bryan Danielson will take on Jake Hager in a singles match as part of next week’s All Out go-hom edition of AEW Dynamite.

As Danielson and Chris Jericho were having a verbal debate that set up their own singles match for All Out, Hager snuck in from behind and laid out Danielson.

He and Jericho took out Danielson to end the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing that put Danielson out of action for weeks. This will be Hager’s first singles match since mid-July with his last singles win coming in June 2021 over Wardlow in an MMA rules match.

According to Cagematch, this will be their sixth ever meeting with Danielson winning four of the first five during their time in WWE.

The only other match announced was a tag team bout featuring Toni Storm & Hikaru Shida vs. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter.

The four women will meet in a four-way at All Out for the interim AEW Women’s title as Thunder Rosa revealed Wednesday that she is injured.

Here’s the current lineup set for the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois:

  • Bryan Danielson vs. Jake Hager
  • Toni Storm & Hikaru Shida vs. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter
