Chris Jericho vs. Dalton Castle ROH title match announced for AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho will look to continue his dismantling of ROH history as he defends the ROH title against Dalton Castle on this Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite.

As Jericho was denigrating the brand on Rampage, Castle came out and called out Jericho, saying he broke his back to get the title and he would break Jericho’s back to get it back.

Castle held the ROH title from December 2017 through June 2018. He’s also a former ROH TV Champion and is currently in his second stint holding the ROH Six-Man titles with The Boys.

Also announced for Wednesday is an AEW Trios title match featuring champions Death Triangle defending against Orange Cassidy & Best Friends. Cassidy defeated PAC for the All-Atlantic title on Wednesday’s Dynamite and now Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor want gold for themselves.

The additions join the originally announced AEW World title match between champion Jon Moxley and Hangman Page, and interim AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm defending against Hikaru Shida.

Here’s the current card for a special Tuesday Dynamite in Cincinnati, Ohio, due to the MLB playoffs:

  • AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defends against Hangman Page
  • Interim AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm defends against Hikaru Shida
  • AEW Trios Champions Death Triangle defend against Orange Cassidy & Best Friends
  • ROH Champion Chris Jericho defends against Dalton Castle
  • MJF promo
  • Renee Paquette interview with Bryan Danielson & Wheeler Yuta
