Date set for Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa AEW grudge match
The following contain spoilers for this Saturday’s AEW Collision.
Fans will still have to wait for a bit to see the Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa grudge match that has been building for weeks on AEW TV.
As mentioned on Wednesday’s Wrestling Observer Radio and coming from spoilers for the post-Dynamite Collision taping, the Jericho vs. Ciampa bout is scheduled for the Beach Break edition of Dynamite on July 8 from Clearwater, Florida.
The two had a face-to-face confrontation that will air Saturday in which Ciampa issued the challenge which was then accepted.
The rivalry between the two veterans started on the post-Double or Nothing Dynamite when Ciampa attacked Jericho from behind and has continued since then, including a recent brawl between the two that opened up an episode of Dynamite.
It will be their first-ever match against each other.
On Saturday, it will be the first match announced for the Beach Break show.
