Cody Rhodes set for tag team match on AEW Dynamite

Cody Rhodes will team with Nightmare Family teammate Lee Johnson against Dante Martin and Matt Sydal on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan made the announcement while doing his regular Friday appearance on Busted Open Radio.
The Nightmare Family has been struggling with Malakai Black as of late with Rhodes unable to defeat Black in their rematch at Dynamite: Grand Slam. That followed Black defeating Johnson and Dustin Rhodes in recent weeks.
To make matters worse, Rhodes accidentally ran into Arn Anderson while he was on the apron. Anderson then yelled at Rhodes to get back into the match instead of checking on him. Moments later, Rhodes had mist spat in his eyes from Black and was rolled up for the win.
Martin teamed with Sydal for the first time on the September 15th Dynamite, losing to FTR. Rhodes and Johnson have teamed up twice this year, going 1-1.
The match is the second announced for AEW’s Rochester, New York, debut along with TNT Champion Miro defending against Sammy Guevara.
