Darby Allin gets slammed on tacks by mother during wedding, several AEW stars attend
A day before he was set to compete in a 12-man steel cage match to headline AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, former AEW World Champion Darby Allin was getting married and with some familiar accoutrements.
Pictures from the ceremony and reception in Seattle, Washington, started coming out on Sunday with several AEW talents in attendance like MJF, Tony Khan, Brody King, Swerve Strickland, Alicia Atout, Thunder Rosa, and Steven Borden Jr. in addition to Sting and Diamond Dallas Page.
In the clips seen below, Allin and King chopped Allin’s father in the chest while also slamming another man on tacks. Allin then got slammed on tacks himself by his mother of all people, also seen below.
In a radio interview ahead of Double or Nothing, Allin revealed that he proposed to Sara Erickson while he was the top of Mount Everest in May 2025. He explained the two have known each other since meeting on the school bus in high school and reacquainted years later via Instagram when she saw him doing crazy things and reached out to catch up.
Allin said they went bungee jumping on one of their first dates and also revealed she was the victim of a gunshot from a gang member shooting her then-boyfriend that went through him and caught her in the head, resulting in her being medevaced to a trauma center. She later became an ICU nurse. Allin said in that same interview that the two plan to have children.
