Eight-man tag team match announced for next AEW Dynamite
Four teams with grudges will come together on next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in an eight-man tag team match.
The match will see multi-promotional champions FTR team with AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed against Swerve in our Glory & The Gunns.
Colten & Austin Gunn interrupted The Acclaimed’s birthday celebration for Billy Gunn on Wednesday as they were upset they weren’t invited. W. Morrissey then attacked The Acclaimed and Gunn afterward and was then joined by the Gunn sons.
FTR eventually came out for the save and the heels took off. They did slowly hand the AEW tag titles back to The Acclaimed in foreshadowing for a future match.
In a backstage segment later in the show with Swerve in our Glory and rapper Rick Ross, Swerve Strickland suggested the match to Keith Lee who was trying to confront his partner about his actions last week against Billy Gunn.
AEW announced that more matches for next Wednesday’s show in Boston< Massachusetts, will be announced on this Friday’s Rampage.
