Hangman Page & John Silver vs. Butcher & Blade set for AEW Rampage

Friday’s AEW Rampage will see the former World Champion Hangman Page in tag team action.

Page will team with Dark Order friend John Silver to take on The Butcher & The Blade. Page has been in action just once since losing his title to CM Punk at Double or Nothing, getting eliminated by eventual winner Brody King in the recent Royal Rampage match.

In a bout that was seeded last Wednesday, Jay Lethal will take on Chris Daniels in a battle of former Ring of Honor World Champions. This will be their first singles match since April 2017.

Daniels has been defending TV Champion Samoa Joe’s honor as Lethal prepare to challenge him at Saturday’s Death Before Dishonor. Joe has yet to be seen on TV after being attacked backstage at Double or Nothing.

Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter will be in tag team action as the build to a match with Thunder Rosa & Toni Storm continues.

After The Acclaimed returned last Friday to gain revenge on the Gunn Club after being turned on, Max Caster and Austin Gunn will have a rap battle on the show.

The new additions join the previously announced Dante Martin vs. Lee Moriarty match.

Here’s a look at Friday’s lineup which is being taped after Wednesday’s Dynamite in Duluth, Georgia:

  • Christopher Daniels vs. Jay Lethal
  • Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter vs. TBA
  • Lee Moriarty vs. Dante Martin
  • Hangman Page & John Silver vs. The Butcher & The Blade
  • Max Caster & Austin Gunn rap battle
