Hangman Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs set for next AEW Dynamite

Hangman Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs has been announced for next Saturday’s AEW Dynamite.

After Page and Preston “10” Vance defeated Brian Cage and Hobbs last week, Taz challenged Page to take Hobbs on one-on-one which Page later accepted, flanked by the Dark Order.

Page and Team Taz have been at odds since April with the top contender picking up wins over Ricky Starks and Brian Cage while losing to Cage once.

Dynamite will continue its preemptions from Wednesdays on TNT due to the NBA playoffs, airing on Saturday at 8 PM Eastern instead.

Next Saturday’s live show is headlined by AEW World Champion Kenny Omega vs. Jungle Boy in a title match. Jungle Boy earned the shot by winning the Casino Battle Royale at last month’s Double or Nothing.

As of now, the AEW World title match and the Page vs. Hobbs match are the only things announced for next week’s show — the second-to-last Dynamite before AEW heads back out on the road on a weekly basis.
