Hangman Page vs. Toa Liona set for next AEW Dynamite

In the first reveal of two Dealer’s Choice matches, Hangman Page will take on Toa Liona on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.

In a stipulation made last week due to their continued rivalry and attempts to each secure a title shot at AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland made the announcement for Page to face one of his Mogul Embassy stablemates during Saturday’s Collision.

However, Strickland still doesn’t know who Page has picked to be his opponent. Page, however, did say that Strickland would have to wait “the whole f’n show” to find out. That, of course, is a nod to Rob Van Dam who has appeared in AEW before.

This will be the first singles match between Page and Liona while they have squared off in tag team action before.

Here’s the current card for New Orleans, Louisiana:

  • Dealer’s Choice: Swerve Strickland vs. an opponent of Hangman Page’s choosing
  • Dealer’s Choice: Hangman Page vs. Toa Liona
  • Deonna Purrazzo vs. Taya Valkyrie (w/ Toni Storm on commentary)
  • Chris Jericho vs. Kyle Fletcher
