Hangman Page vs. Wheeler Yuta set for AEW Rampage
Ahead of his challenge of Jon Moxley on next week’s Dynamite, former AEW World Champion Hangman Page will take on Wheeler Yuta on this Friday’s AEW Rampage.
In a backstage segment where Page said he wanted to face Moxley in a trilogy match, Yuta confronted him to stick up for his Blackpool Combat Club teammate and the match was made.
This will be their first-ever meeting.
AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter will be in non-title action against Emi Sakura. If Sakura can get a win over Hayter, she earns a future title shot.
The two have been on the same team twice in AEW, but this will be their first-ever one-on-one match in AEW. They have had one singles match before, competing in Pro Wrestling: EVE back in April 2019.
Powerhouse Hobbs will also be wrestling on the show against an opponent to be named.
