Hook will be in AEW for years to come, according to a new report.

A day after a vignette aired trumpeting his impending return, Fightful Select revealed that the son of Taz re-signed with AEW for multiple years at some point in 2024. No other details were provided.

Hook has been out of action since suffering a concussion on the April 9th Dynamite after a tag team match in which he appeared to vomit twice. He did briefly return at May’s Double or Nothing during the Anarchy in the Arena match, but hasn’t been on TV since.

The 26-year-old made his in-ring debut in December 2021 and nearly immediately became a fan favorite for his quick matches. He became the final FTW Champion in history, retiring the title after defending it at September 2024’s edition of Grand Slam in Queens, New York.

He appeared on Wrestling Observer Live in June to promote his acting debut in Money Talks, a short debut film made by his friend and college roommate/fellow college dropout Tony Mucci, and his future acting aspirations.
