Chris Jericho calls for Inner Circle team meeting on AEW Dynamite
Following last week’s events on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho has called for a meeting of the Inner Circle on next Wednesday’s show from Atlantic City, New Jersey.
During a backstage promo, Jericho took aim at Santana & Ortiz for their actions last Wednesday when they iced Jericho out of a trios match against Daniel Garcia and 2point0.
The Inner Circle picked up the win after Jericho defied them and hit his Judas Effect elbow strike on Matt Lee while standing on the outside of the ring, much to Santana & Ortiz’s annoyance.
The two have been leaning toward siding with Eddie Kingston in recent weeks despite Jericho making the save for Kingston in attacks from 2point0 and Garcia.
On Wednesday’s show, Jericho said he wanted answers from both men and called for the team meeting with attendance from everyone mandatory. TNT Champion Sammy Guevara has been on a hot streak as of late while Jake Hager has largely disappeared from TV.
That was the only new addition to next week’s show which has just AEW World Champion Hangman Page vs. Lance Archer in a Texas Death Match for the title as of now.
