Jeff Hardy, Adam Cole out of AEW Dynamite ten-man tag team match

A high profile ten-man tag team match initially scheduled for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite has now lost two of its competitors, making it an eight-man instead.

After announcing it at Sunday’s Double or Nothing, AEW released the new lineup Monday sans Jeff Hardy and Adam Cole. No reason for their absence was given. Given the physicality of the Young Bucks vs. Hardys tag team match at Double or Nothing, it’s likely Hardy is nursing injuries.

The new match will see AEW Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express, Christian Cage and Matt Hardy vs. The Young Bucks and reDRagon.

Wednesday’s show is a big one for AEW as they debut in Los Angeles, California, at The Forum with executives from Warner Bros. Discovery in the house.

No other matches have officially been announced for Wednesday. A TNT title match alluded to Sunday featuring Scorpio Sky defending against Dante Martin will be on either Dynamite or Rampage this week.
