Jon Moxley vs. Dante Martin, TBS title match set for AEW Rampage

Jon Moxley will look to keep his momentum going heading into this month’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view as he takes on Dante Martin on Friday’s AEW Road Rager edition of Rampage.

This will be their first-ever singles bout. Martin and Matt Sydal lost to Moxley and Bryan Danielson in a mid-May Rampage tag team match.

Moxley will wrestle Hiroshi Tanahashi at Forbidden Door for the interim AEW World title.

In another featured match, Jade Cargill will look to keep her undefeated record alive as she defends the TBS title against Willow Nightingale after the latter accepted Cargill’s open challenge.

Darby Allin will continue to look to extract revenge against reDRagon for injuring Sting as he faces Bobby Fish. On Tuesday’s Dark, Fish attacked Brock Anderson after he defeated him and Allin ran out to make the save. Allin was defeated by Fish’s teammate Kyle O’Reilly at last month’s Double or Nothing.

In a trios match, Gunn Club & Max Caster will take on Bear Country and Leon Ruffin. Ruffin went by Leon Ruff in WWE NXT and recently debuted at last month’s Dark tapings.

Finally, Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland will address what happened at last week’s Casino Battle Royale when Strickland eliminated his tag team partner.

Here’s Friday’s lineup which is being taped after Wednesday’s Dynamite:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Dante Martin
  • Darby Allin vs Bobby Fish
  • TBS Champion Jade Cargill defends against Willow Nightingale
  • Gunn Club & Max Caster vs. Bear Country & Leon Ruff
  • Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee segment
