Jon Moxley vs. Sammy Guevara announced for AEW Rampage

For the second straight week, former three-time AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will be in action on AEW Rampage.

After defeating Konosuke Takeshita last Friday, Moxley will take on Sammy Guevara in a follow-up from two weeks ago on Dynamite when Moxley took Guevara out after he interfered in the Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta vs. Jake Hager & Daniel Garcia match.

The two have faced each other twice before in singles action with Moxley winning both of them.

Former AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker will take on Skye Blue after Blue challenged her backstage Wednesday. The two have faced each other twice in tag team matches since early-November, and this will be their second-ever singles match with the first taking place on an April 2021 edition of AEW Dark: Elevation.

After Dustin Rhodes came to AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy’s aid after Trent Seven and Kip Sabian attacked him last Friday, Rhodes will team with Cassidy and Best Friends against Sabian, Seven and The Butcher & The Blade in eight-man tag team action.

Former TNT Champion Wardlow will be in action against an opponent to be named.

Here’s the full lineup that is being taped after Wednesday’s Dynamite in Garland, Texas:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Sammy Guevara
  • Britt Baker vs. Skye Blue
  • Wardlow in action
  • Dustin Rhodes, Orange Cassidy & Best Friends vs. Kip Sabian, Trent Seven & The Butcher and The Blade
