Jonathan Gresham vs. Lee Moriarty ROH title match set for next AEW Rampage

ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will defend the title against Lee Moriarty on next Friday’s Fyter Fest edition of AEW Rampage.

Gresham and Moriarty were in a tag match Friday against the Gates of Agony, but during the bout, Gresham refused to take Moriarty’s tag and walked away. It was later revealed he joined Tully Blanchard’s group which includes the Gates of Agony and Brian Cage.

The outcome will have some bearing on the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on Saturday, July 23rd in Lowell, Massachusetts. An ROH World title match has yet to be announced for the show.

In a tag team match, the Lucha Brothers will return to action against Private Party. This will be the first match for Penta Oscuro and Rey Fenix since their June 3rd Rampage clash against the Young Bucks while Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen haven’t been on AEW TV since June.

This will be the first traditional tag team meeting between the teams in AEW since the inaugural Tag Team title tournament in October 2019.

Gunn Club and Billy Gunn will also address their turn on The Acclaimed from this past Wednesday.

Here’s the lineup as of now:

  • ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham defends against Lee Moriarty
