Kazuchika Okada, PAC to get AEW World title shots in five day stretch

Darby Allin | AEW

AEW World Champion Darby Allin has two title defenses in a five stretch — if he can survive the first one.

Both made during Wednesday’s three-hour Dynamite/Collision block, Allin will first put his World title on the line this Saturday at the first-ever Fairway to Hell show on TBS against PAC.

In a backstage segment, PAC called for the title shot as he is 2-1 against Allin all-time with their last bout taking place in January (an Allin win). It will be the second match set for the one-hour special, joining the Jack Perry National title defense against Mark Davis.

The winner of that match will then move on to next Wednesday on Dynamite against reigning AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada. Okada picked up a title defense against Bryan Keith and then challenged Allin for a title shot. Okada later confronted Allin after his own title defense over Kevin Knight, demanding an answer.

Allin agreed, saying, “It’s on, b*tch.” It will be their first-ever singles match.

Both PAC and Okada are looking for their first-ever AEW World title run. If Allin survives the five-day stretch, a hair vs. title match may await him at Double or Nothing.
