Kris Statlander

One woman advanced and another went home after Wednesday’s sole AEW Dynamite Owen Hart Foundation tournament match.

Former TBS Champion Kris Statlander picked up a win over former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa to advance to the semifinals after hitting her Staturday Night Fever move. It was their first singles match ever in AEW and first since a 2019 indie bout.

Statlander now advances to face the winner of Billie Starkz vs. Jamie Hayter which takes place this Saturday on AEW Collision from Springfield, Massachussetts.

On the other side of the bracket, reigning TBS Champion Mercedes Mone advanced to the semifinals with her win over Julia Hart at Sunday’s Dynasty. She awaits the winner of Saturday’s Athena vs. Harley Cameron bout.

Both the men’s and women’s tournaments will conclude at next month’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view from Phoenix, Arizona. The winners are expected to challenge for the respective AEW World titles at July’s All In Texas.
