Former TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher was feared to have sustained an injury at the AEW Collision taping, but such is not the case.

During the latest taping for this Thursday’s July 2, 2026 taping of AEW Collision from the Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl in San Diego, California, Kyle Fletcher faced off against ELP (AEW Collision spoilers here). However, after his performance, several fans reported Fletcher possibly suffering an injury.

Our Bryan Alvarez has now shared a major update regarding Fletcher’s condition. “Although multiple fans reported tonight that Kyle Fletcher appeared to have been injured doing his match on Collision, we’ve been told he appears to be fine,” Alvarez wrote. “And it was likely just dehydration.

Fletcher recently returned from an injury at AEW Double or Nothing and was also involved in the Steel Cage match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. He is also scheduled to face Konosuke Takeshita for the International title next Wednesday’s Dynamite.
