International title match, Women’s Casino Gauntlet set for next AEW Dynamite
While next Wednesday’s Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite will feature a high profile World title match, it will also feature another grudge match with a title on the line.
Announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite, International Champion Konosuke Takeshita will defend against Kyle Fletcher in a match building since May’s Double or Nothing when Takeshita defeated Kazuchika Okada for the title. Fletcher made his return from injury afterward and turned on Takeshita.
It will be their third-ever singles match and first since October 2023.
The show will feature a Women’s Casino Gauntlet match with the winner advancing to a World title match at this month’s Redemption. Qualifiers for the first two spots will take place on Thursday’s Collision.
The additions join the previously announced Tommaso Ciampa vs. Chris Jericho match.
