Mance Warner debut part of three-match Thursday AEW Dark: Elevation
Mance Warner will make his in-ring debut for AEW on a special three-match Thursday edition of Dark: Elevation that will set up Friday’s live Rampage.
Tony Khan announced the news early Thursday morning after the matches were taped prior to Wednesday’s Dynamite.
Warner will take on Serpentico ahead of his match with interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley on Rampage. If Warner wins, he will earn a future title shot.
Ahead of their challenge of AEW Tag Team Champions Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland in a street fight Friday, Tony Nese & Josh Woods will be in action against Damian Chambers and Dean Alexander.
Former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida will take on old rival Emi Sakura in singles action with new women’s coach Madison Rayne on commentary. Rayne will make her in-ring debut for AEW on Friday.
