Mercedes Mone TBS title defense signed for AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash
The TBS title will be on the line in two weeks as Mercedes Mone will defend against Anna Jay on the Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite.
The show is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18th, in Washington, DC.
After her recent no DQ loss to AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May that made her ineligible to challenge May again, Jay indicated that she was going to pursue another champion. On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Jay made her intentions clear by calling out Mone who had no interest in the match before Jay got physical. Mone escaped with the match being made official shortly afterward.

By the time the match comes around, Mone will have been TBS Champion for more than 200 days with ten title defenses to her credit. Jay is still looking for her first AEW title of any kind.
