MJF, Bryan Danielson exchange stipulations for AEW Revolution title match

AEW World Champion MJF and Bryan Danielson issued dueling challenges to each other on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in order to make a title match at March’s Revolution possible.

After Danielson defeated Tony Nese, he called out MJF and after the two exchanged verbal barbs, Danielson said it was time to fight. MJF said he likes making prospective opponents jump through hoops and talked to Tony Khan about a challenge for Danielson in order for him to get the shot on Sunday, March 5th in San Francisco, CA.

If Danielson can defeat MJF’s hand-picked opponents through Wednesday, February 8th, he will give him a title shot at Revolution. Danielson, however, said no.

After MJF was incredulous at the refusal, Danielson said he had his own challenge. If he beats those thrown in front him through the 8th, he gets to pick the stipulation for their Revolution match. MJF reluctantly agreed and Danielson revealed it would be a one-hour Iron Man match.

Assuming all of the matches are on Dynamite, Danielson would need to go 5-0. If he does that, this would be MJF’s first-ever Iron Man match while it would be Danielson’s third-ever such match but the first to be beyond 30 minutes.
