MJF voted into Hurt Syndicate, set to sign contract on next AEW Dynamite

MJF

After weeks and weeks of making his case, former AEW World Champion MJF will finally join the Hurt Syndicate after getting three thumbs up of approval.

Bobby Lashley said he would make a final decision on Wednesday’s Dynamite as the sole member to not vote MJF into the group after MVP and Shelton Benjamin had previously approved.

The deal will become official with a contract on next Wednesday’s Dynamite from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

After Lashley and Benjamin’s title eliminator victory over Top Flight, the team MJF bloodied up on last week’s Dynamite to show the group that he hurts people, MVP had to instruct Benjamin to find MJF backstage as he was concerned he was going to both get turned down again and beat up. Benjamin was found hiding behind Tony Khan at the gorilla position.

Lashley, earlier adorned with a thumbs down t-shirt, was teasing that he was again going to give the thumbs down as Benjamin loaded up for a superkick behind MJF. Instead, Lashley approved to MJF’s disbelief.

MVP first approached MJF following his Revolution loss to Hangman Page, saying the former champion needed to regain past glory. Benjamin eventually warmed to the idea after MJF regaled the group with women and then Lashley with an expensive sports car.
