MJF vs. Hangman Page set for AEW Revolution

A clash between a pair of former AEW World Champions is now confirmed for next month’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view as MJF will take on Hangman Page.

After several weeks of the two staring each other down followed by a massive brawl on last week’s Dynamite, the two had an extensive face-to-face promo battle on Wednesday’s Dynamite. Things nearly got physical again until MJF spat in Page’s face and ran, and both security and Christopher Daniels got involved.

The match was later confirmed.

The two have only had one singles bout: that being in November 2019 in the first-ever Dynamite diamond ring final that MJF won, something he brought up in the aforementioned promo.

Here’s the current and expected card for the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, March 9th:

  • AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defends against Cope
  • MJF vs. Hangman Page
  • AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita defends against Kenny Omega*
  • Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher in a steel cage match*
  • TBS Champion Mercedes Mone defends against Momo Watanabe*
  • Big Boom AJ vs. TBA
