MJF, Wardlow to appear on AEW Dynamite Beach Break
MJF and hometown boy Wardlow will be on Wednesday’s Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite in Cleveland, Ohio.
AEW founder Tony Khan announced the news during his weekly appearance on Busted Open Radio, saying that wherever CM Punk goes, both men seem to follow and vice versa. Punk is scheduled to speak on tonight’s show as well.
Punk has been angling for a match with MJF for months with the latter throwing obstacles in his way like Wardlow and Shawn Spears. The undefeated Punk picked up wins over both men in recent weeks with Punk saying he will continue to derail MJF’s title hopes as long as he refuses to face him.
Here’s everything that has been announced for Wednesday’s show thus far:
- Adam Cole vs. Orange Cassidy in a lights out match
- Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara in a TNT title unification ladder match
- Chris Jericho, Santana & Ortiz vs. Daniel Garcia & 2point0
- Red Velvet vs. Leyla Hirsch
- Promos from CM Punk and AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker
