Private Party makes surprise return on AEW Dynamite

Private Party

The mystery wild card team in Wednesday’s three-way AEW Tag Team title eliminator wasn’t Adam Copeland and Christian Cage after all.

Rather, it was former AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party who made their surprise return to Dynamite after a 13-month absence.

Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy were part of the aforementioned three-way on Dynamite that also included the Young Bucks and Myron Reed & Dezmond Xavier of The Rascalz. They didn’t factor into the finish as the Bucks pinned Reed after a Meltzer Driver to earn a future shot at current champions FTR.

Quen and Kassidy haven’t been seen on TV since losing the titles in less than ten minutes to The Hurt Syndicate on January 22, 2025. They competed for House of Glory two months afterward, but haven’t wrestled anywhere since for unknown reasons.

It was speculated last June that the AEW originals were soon to be done and had drawn interest from WWE. Earlier on Wednesday, a report emerged to expect to see them in AEW again before WWE.
