Rey Fenix vs. Angelico, two promo segments set for AEW Dynamite
During their “paid announcement” on Impact Wrestling, one new match and two new promo segments were announced for Wednesday’s St. Patrick’s Day Slam edition of AEW Dynamite.
A week after defeating Matt Jackson, Rey Fenix (with PAC) will face Angelico in another singles outing for the Death Triangle team member. Fenix and PAC are preparing for their upcoming Tag Team title challenge against the Young Bucks, the date of which has yet to be announced.
In one interview segment, Tony Schiavone will interview TNT Champion Darby Allin and Sting and in another, Christian Cage will speak a week after he was originally scheduled to. Instead, that turned into a confrontation with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, setting up a likely match between the two.
The rest of the card for Wednesday’s taped show:
- Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa in an unsanctioned lights out match (main event)
- Cody Rhodes vs. Penta El Zero Miedo (show opener)
- Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston vs. Good Brothers
- Jurassic Express and Bear Country vs. Private Party, Butcher and The Blade and Matt Hardy
- Jade Cargill in action
