ROH Tag Team title ladder match made for Supercard of Honor

The Ring of Honor Tag Team titles will be on the line at this month’s Supercard of Honor pay-per-view.

During AEW Rampage, Mark Briscoe revealed that the event will feature the first-ever Reach for the Sky ladder match for the titles. The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) were the first participants announced.

Briscoe is still recognized as one half of the tag team champions as the company evaluated how to proceed following the passing of his brother, Jay Briscoe, in a January car accident.

It’s unclear if the titles are being vacated or if Briscoe will be in the match with a new partner. On this past week’s Ring of Honor TV, Briscoe challenged, and was granted, a future TV title shot against Samoa Joe.

The PPV is set for Friday, March 31st from Los Angeles, California, during WrestleMania weekend.

As of this writing, the ladder match is the only one set for the PPV although ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli vs. Eddie Kingston would appear to be the frontrunner for the main event.
