ROH Women’s title match part of seven-match AEW Dark
Tuesday’s edition of AEW Dark will feature an ROH Women’s title match as its main event.
ROH Women’s Champion Athena will defend against Marina Shafir in hopes of her third successful title defense since winning the gold at December’s Final Battle while Shafir will look to avoid going 0-4 in AEW/ROH title matches.
The match was made following an angle on Monday’s AEW Dark: Elevation.
Tuesday’s show will also act as a preview of sorts for this week’s Dynamite and Rampage.
Ahead of their match with Jungle Boy & Hook Wednesday, Big Bill & Lee Moriarty will face The Voros Twins.
Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale will face Emi Sakura & Diamante while Anna Jay A.S. & Tay Melo go head-to-head with Teal Piper & Kel in tag team action. Soho & Nightingale will take on Jay & Melo on Friday in a street fight.
Of note, Piper is the daughter of Roddy Piper. This will be her second AEW appearance and first since 2019’s All Out Casino Battle Royale.
