Rosa-Hirsch tournament kickoff, PAC-Nemeth set for AEW Dynamite
The AEW Women’s title eliminator tournament will kickoff on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
In the opening round of the U.S. side of the bracket, former NWA Women’s champion Thunder Rosa will face Leyla Hirsch. Rosa is coming off a controversial loss to Britt Baker at last week’s Beach Break while Hirsch last was seen defeating Katalina Perez on Dark.
The full brackets for the 16-woman tournament taking place in both the U.S. and Japan have yet to be revealed.
In another new match announced Monday, PAC will face Ryan Nemeth. PAC will also be on Tuesday’s Dark against VSK and assuming he picks up a win there, he will head into Wednesday with six straight singles wins. Nemeth will also be in action on Dark against Marko Stunt.
Those matches join the following:
- AEW World Champion Kenny Omega & KENTA vs. Jon Moxley & Lance Archer in a falls count anywhere, anything goes lights out match
- TNT Champion Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela
- Chris Jericho & MJF vs. The Acclaimed
- Cody Rhodes & Lee Johnson vs. Peter Avalon & Cezar Bononi
