Sareee is returning to the ring.

She announced on Saturday that she will take part in a show for the Marvelous promotion on Sunday, June 21 at Fukuoka Nishitetsu Hall. Sareee will team with Takumi Iroha and challenge AAAW Tag Team Champions Nyla Rose and Nightshade.

It will be Sareee’s first match since a Marvelous event on May 12 in Tokyo.

Sareee had been announced as part of the 2026 AEW women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament, but was replaced in her quarterfinal match against Skye Blue by Maya World after AEW doctors wouldn’t clear her for the bout.

Sareee announced in May that she would be taking a month off for what she described as neck maintenance. She later revealed in an interview that doctors in Japan had cleared her to return to the ring, but AEW doctors wouldn’t do so.

Sareee posted to social media earlier this week apologizing for having to miss the tournament. AEW president Tony Khan responded, saying the door is always open for her in AEW.
