Survival of the Fittest entrants finalized on AEW Forbidden Door pre-show
The six women who will compete in a Survival of the Fittest match for the vacant TBS title are now finalized after the Zero Hour pre-show during Sunday’s AEW Forbidden Door.
In their first-ever meeting and her AEW debut, Stardom’s Maika defeated Skye Blue, getting the pin after a brain buster on the ring apron, followed up by a hammerlock Michinoku driver.
She joins two former AEW Women’s World Champions (Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander), the CMLL Women’s World Champion in Persephone, and two women looking for their first AEW singles title in Harley Cameron and Queen Aminata.
The ROH tradition making its debut in AEW will take place this Wednesday when Dynamite visits San Diego, California. The winner becomes the new TBS Champion after Willow Nightingale had to vacate the title in May after being injured in a match.
