The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn win AEW Trios titles at All In

For the first time in nearly a decade, Billy Gunn can call himself a champion.

Gunn and former AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed defeated the House of Black Sunday at All In at London’s Wembley Stadium to win the Trios titles for the first time.

The end came when Gunn hit a second Fameasser on Brody King followed by a second Anthony Bowens’ Arrival and a second Max Caster Mic Drop with all three of them on top of King for the pin and win.

The match was held under no holds barred rules per the challengers’ request as part of the House of Black’s “House Rules.”

Gunn, who teased retirement after the trio initially lost to the House of Black at a July Collision event, now has his first major championship since he and Road Dogg held the WWE Tag Team titles in early-2014.

It’s the first titles for Bowens and Caster since they lost the AEW Tag Team titles this past February.

The reign ends the 175-day run for the House of Black (King, Malakai Black & Buddy Matthews) which saw them defend the titles eight times.
