Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo Texas bullrope match set for next AEW Collision

The recent rivalry between former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo will continue next Saturday on Collision.

After Rosa’s victory on this week’s Collision over Taya Valkyrie, she called out her rival to issue a challenge for a Texas bullrope match next Saturday.

The two have been trying to settle their problems since April, but to no avail. After Rosa won their first AEW meeting, Purrazzo defeated her at Double or Nothing. Purrazzo then beat her in a no DQ match at June’s Collision anniversary show and followed that up with a win in a lumberjack match a month later.

It’s only the second-ever bullrope match in AEW history following the Dustin Rhodes vs. Nick Comoroto match in June 2021.

That was the only match announced for next Saturday with the possibility of a Top Flight vs MxM Collection match based on a backstage promo that took place during the broadcast.

Here’s the current lineup for next Saturday from Arlington, Texas:

  • Deonna Purrazzo vs. Thunder Rose Texas bullrope match
