Tony Khan has revealed Jay White’s in-ring return clearance timeline.

At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Jay White made his shocking return after an absence of over a year. Interfering in the AEW World Tag Team title match, White attacked David Finlay and helped Adam Copeland and Christian Cage retain their tag titles.

Later, at the Forbidden Door post-show, Khan was asked about when White was cleared for his return. “Jay White actually just officially got cleared this week. So this was something we were hoping he was gonna get cleared. And he has just been physically cleared,” Khan said.

Tony Khan addresses the upcoming creative plans for The Bang Bang Gang

As a response to the same Jay white question, Khan also opened up and described the upcoming creative plans for The Bang Bang Gang.

I think it has worked great that there has been a lot of friction between the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs. Particularly, as of late. And even though Jay White has not been on the shows, the Bang Bang has been represented. And we have seen the Bang Bang Gang allude that there was gonna be comeuppance for The Dogs,” Khan said.

Jay White came, and he got some payback. I thought Forbidden Door was the perfect place for him to make his return, given how he arrived here in the first place. And give the way, how he was exited from New Japan Pro Wrestling,” Khan added. He further shared how Walker Stewart and Excalibur describe White’s history with NJPW and his exit from here. The AEW President also noted how effective Juice Robinson had been in the buildup to build the excitement around the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs before White’s return.
